"Asian Pair"
Street photography always fascinates me. It is that serious artistic attempt to capture unique images in perfect moments.
In this body of work, I pair the street images I took from my most recent trip to Asia. Unlike capturing images in the moment, the pairing is my deliberate attempt to re-create images. I think the process adds more interests, and final pairs present more impressions apart from what I see. Sometimes they contradict and sometimes they compliment each other. Be the judge.
Though the paired images may depict subjective, oversimplified, and contrasting meanings, I believe their differences somehow come together.
