Artist's Bio

Adeo Carreon Alday has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of the Philippines, and a Master’s degree in Science of Management from Boston University. His professional background includes a 20-year long rewarding career in fashion design, research & development, and production & global sourcing, working for major corporations in Manila, Hong Kong, Minneapolis, Paris, New York, and San Francisco.

After retiring from the corporate environment, Adeo transitioned his passion and energy to his love of art. While living in Europe, he explored his personal art expressions in the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, Belgium and learned the French language in the Université Paris-Sorbonne in Paris, France. Back in the USA, he completed a certificate program in Photography at UC Berkeley and advanced his art via classes in Stanford University and the San Francisco Art Institute. During that period in California, many of his photography works were featured in the SFMOMA art blog, National Geographic’s Intelligent Travel, and his mixed media art project was successfully selected to a juried group exhibition in the historical Diego de Rivera Gallery in San Francisco.

In October 2016, his art was featured in the San Francisco Chronicle where he used his work to advocate for stronger local policy to help reduce car burglary, a crime that has become a rampant nuisance to everyday life in San Francisco.

Since moving to Boston in 2017, Adeo has completed a professional graduate certificate in Museum Studies from Harvard University. And currently is a candidate pursuing a Masters Degree to equip him in achieving his mission of establishing a non-profit art organization and gallery for local emerging artists.

He is an artist, a real estate lover, a world traveler, a student for life, and a philanthropist to fight cancer and support the arts.

Adeo's artworks are not for commercial medium but for the enjoyment of friends and family-- and at times a vehicle to advocate particular cause for social change.
